Georgina Richmond has been painting in oils since she was a young teenager. In 1986 she gained a B.A. Hons in Fine Art at the Gloucestershire College Of the Arts in the U.K.

She is greatly inspired by the wild and raw beauty of Tasmania, the oceans, forests, mountains and ever changing skies.

She paints freely and directly using her hands with lots of movement. She has exhibited widely, solo and in group shows and has been a finalist in the “John Glover Art Prize’’ twice.
