About Ilona:

My professional background is in fashion and design but I have always been interested in Arts and painting in particular. I’m an emerging visual artist working primarily with acrylic and ink on canvas. My art is mostly figurative but often includes elements of  modern abstract vibe. I’m fascinated by the structure of the face and I love to portray subjects with striking features. I have worked on portraits of women I know as well as celebrities, and have recently created a series of portraits of native African women with elements of their tribal fashion.
