The Black Wall:

On the black wall are Jane Holmes and Alicja Boyd. Jane displays her versatility with a play in paint. The work has the feeling of the personal and intimate with dwellings, interiors and exteriors , and  intimate items of clothing: images and objects of love and desire. Alicja has taken a brave new direction into digitally manipulated photographs to refresh her creative imagination. These works refocus, reshape and re-present ancient emblematic images of the female form disintegrating warrior heads.
